Developer-provided parameters

Depending on the app content, you can set the following parameters for the app user.

If an ad call parameter exists in the OpenX Ad ServerA complete digital advertising platform where publishers sell, manage, and deliver their advertising inventory across all digital formats. but does not exist in OpenX Mobile Android SDK, use this method to add the new parameter by name and set the necessary value.

The user's age (in years) expressed as an unsigned integer

For example: 35

If multiple ad call parameters exist in the OpenX ad server but do not exist in OpenX Mobile Android SDK, use this method to add the set of key-value pairs for the new parameters.

Designated market area of the user (US locations only)

Designated market area of the user (US locations only)

For example: "803" for Los Angeles

eth

setUserEthnicity

The user's ethnicity, which can be one of the following values of the OXMEthnicity enum of the UserParameters class:

  • AFRICAN_AMERICAN

  • ASIAN

  • HISPANIC

  • WHITE

  • OTHER

gen

setUserGender

Indicates the user's gender, which can be one of the following values of the OXMGender enum of the UserParameters class:

  • MALE

  • FEMALE

  • OTHER

inc

setUserAnnualIncomeInUs

The user's annual household income in US dollars expressed as an unsigned integer

For example: 40000

setUserMaritalStatus

The user's marital status, which can be one of the following values of the OXMMaritalStatus enum of the UserParameters class:

  • SINGLE

  • MARRIED

  • DIVORCED

setAppStoreMarketUrl

The URL for the mobile application in Google Play

For example: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.outfit7.talkingtom

You can manually set custom parameters using setUserParameters() on AdView and send it through the corresponding load().
