To get started with the OpenX Mobile Android SDK, make sure you meet the following requirements and review the integration steps outlined below. For new features and updates, please see Release notes.

To integrate the OpenX Mobile Android SDK 4.8.x, make sure you use the following:

Integration process overview

To integrate the OpenX Mobile Android SDK, complete the following steps. To explore the provided sample implementations, download the SDK and launch the demo app.

  1. Make sure you meet the above requirements.
  2. Download the OpenX Mobile Android SDK zip file.
  3. Import the SDK into your app.
  4. Integrate the SDK with your app by updating the Android manifest.
  5. If you want to use OpenX as a source of demand on MoPub and/or AdMob via their respective SDKs, build the MoPub and/or AdMob SDK adapter and skip to step 7.
  6. Integrate the desired ad unit into your app:
  7. Test your integration and notify OpenX to enable live traffic.
