Bidder for Apps ad server setup

Before developing the OpenX BidderOpenX's header bidding solution. Bidder enables publishers to realize the true value of their direct and indirect inventory in real time. "Bidder" can also mean a program designed to bid in real time on inventory in the OpenX Ad Exchange. for Apps technical integration, you will need to collaborate with your OpenX representative as follows. Please also use the setup checklist to ensure that you are completing all of the necessary steps of the setup process.

Provide information for all ad units

For each iOS ad unitThe smallest inventory component that represents the space on a site where ads display.:

For each Android ad unit:

  • MoPub Ad Unit ID
  • Ad unit settings:
    • Device (Phone or Tablet)
    • Format (e.g. Banner 320 x 50, Leaderboard 728 x 90) or custom size dimensions
    • Layout, if applicable (Portrait or Landscape)
  • Play Store URL
  • Android application ID

Please also note:

  • If you have any special targeting or block lists, please provide this information to your OpenX representative.
  • Any mismatch of the identifiers above will result in no fill, such as testing with an app that does not use the bundle ID/application ID provided to OpenX.

Provide OpenX with access to MoPub

Provide OpenX with access to MoPub using the unique OpenX email address provided.

OpenX will create the following in MoPub:

  • One (1) order per ad format. Orders can be created for the following mobile formats:
    • Medium 300x250 (Phone or Tablet)
    • Banner 320x50 (Phone or Tablet)
    • Fullscreen Portrait 320x480 (Phone)
    • Fullscreen Landscape 480x320 (Phone)
    • Leaderboard 728x90 (Tablet)
  • 90 line items under each order. Line items are set with the following bucket pricing:
    • $0.05-$1.00 = $0.05 increments
    • $1.00-$5.00 = $0.10 increments
    • $5.00-$20.00 = $0.50 increments
