Creating ad networks

Depending on your user access, set up the third-party ad networks to traffic ads with.

Important: Creating or editing ad networks can negatively impact inventoryAd space available on a website or app. The basic unit of inventory for OpenX is an ad unit. performance. Work with your account manager to determine the optimal configuration.

To create an ad network:

  1. Go to the Orders > Demand Partners tab.

  2. Click Add Ad NetworkAn OpenX account type, which represents a business that manages other businesses and typically contains and manages both publisher accounts and advertiser accounts..

  3. Select an ad network from the list with which to traffic ads. Alternatively, start typing an ad network name to search for it.

    Tip: The only ad networks displayed in this list are those set up for you by OpenX. If you do not find an ad network, contact your OpenX account manager to determine whether they are compatible with OpenX and should be included in the Add Ad Network list.

  4. Specify the appropriate credentials and details for the new ad network:

    • A unique Name for the ad network

      Important: Do not set up duplicate accounts, because it will cause issues such as problems with reporting.

    • A Username and Password for the ad network

    • The Network Reporting Timezone for the ad network

    • The Currency for the ad network

  5. Click Create.
