What you need to do

To access the data collected for event feeds, perform the following tasks or write code that automatically handles them:

  1. Log in to the OpenX instance for which you want to access event-level feeds.

Note: To access event-level feeds, you must be assigned to the Reporting Only user roleA grouping of user capabilities that describe the tasks a user can perform in OpenX. or your user capabilities must include Reporting Delivery and Reporting Revenue. Depending on your OpenX configuration, your access may be restricted to certain event feeds.

  2. Retrieve the list of available feed files that you want to access. For example, if you are interested in click events, retrieve the list of available feed files for click events and determine the files that you want to review.

  3. Parse the JSON response for the serial numbers and feed file pathnames and download the event feed files that you are interested in.

  4. Review the individual data files for the relevant details.

If your application automatically handles event feeds, your code must:

  1. Parse the JSON response for the event feed and extract serial numbers and file paths for data files that you want to access.

  2. Retrieve the relevant event feed files.

  3. Parse the individual data files for the relevant information.
