Blocked Advertisers Report

The Blocked Advertisers Report provides you with an estimated economic impact of blocking advertisers, allowing you to make informed decisions when adjusting ad quality settings.

To run a Blocked Advertisers Report, navigate to Reports > My Reports > Create Report > Blocked Advertisers Report.

You can configure a Blocked Advertisers Report to show as many or as few columns of information as needed. Listed below are the metrics you can include.

Attributes

Metric Description
Publisher Name Name of publisherAn account type that represents a business with ad space to sell. or network account.
Publisher ID OpenX ID of publisher or network account.
SiteAn OpenX component that represents top-level domains or sub-domains and is used to organize ad units. Sites enable you to target and report on inventory performance. Name Name of the site.
Site ID OpenX ID for the site.
AdvertiserIn OpenX, an account type that represents a business that runs advertising campaigns to display ads on websites. Name Name of the advertiser.

Advertiser Industry

Industry of the advertiser.

Block Type

Type of block that prevented the bid from the advertiser. For example, Language.

Block Value

Value of the Block Type. For example, if the Block Type were Language, the Block Value could be Russian.

Date

Date in the time zone of the publisher account.

Week

First day of the week when the activity occurred. Dates will be displayed as YYYY-MM-DD.

Month

First day of the month when the activity occurred. Dates will be displayed as YYYY-MM-DD.

Currency

Currency used for transactions, such as USD, Euro.

Metrics

Metric Description
Base Revenue Original revenue for auctions associated to the blocked bids.
Incremental Revenue (Estimated) Estimate of potential incremental revenue if ad qualitySettings that control the types of ads that can display on your inventory. blocks are removed. The estimate is based on historical performance. Ad quality blocks are represented by Block Type.
Revenue Lift (Estimated) Estimated percentage of revenue lift against base revenue.
Blocked Bids Number of demand partnerA company which purchases ad inventory on OpenX Ad Exchange. bids affected by Block Type.
Blocked CPMCost per mille, a pricing method which calculates cost based on the number of impressions (per 1000). CPM per blocked bid.
