Creating selling rules

Create selling rules for the inventoryAd space available on a website or app. The basic unit of inventory for OpenX is an ad unit. that you want to make available for real-time selling.

To create a selling rule:

  1. Go to the Inventory tab.

  2. Click the OpenX Market Rules tab.

    Note: The brandA name that represents the product or service being advertised, such as Tide. name of your market appears as the name of this tab, such as OpenX US Rules, or OpenX Market Japan Rules. The same is true for the Add Rule button.

  3. Click Add OpenX Market RuleEnables OpenX Ad Server, Bidder, and SSP customers to specify what inventory is eligible for RTB buyers to purchase.   4. Specify the following required details for the selling rule:

You can specify Buyer, Brand, Industry, Domain and Category filters, which give you more control over the ads that display on your sites but potentially decrease revenue by blocking bids that would otherwise compete for your ad units.

  9. Click Create.

As necessary, you can change settings for a particular selling rule.
