Managing Segments

The Your Segments screen allows you to manage the segments onboarded through direct audiences, in addition to the ones you’ve created by uploading your data files. You can apply a series of actions to a segment by utilizing the actions list .

Your Segments

The Your Segments screen, allows you to easily manage segments.

 ItemDescription
Search and Filter BarSearch and filter segments by name, status, and provider. For more on filters, see Searching and Sorting Segments.
Upload your subscriber or customer segments to use for audience creation.
Archive (delete) selected segments.
Data ColumnsView for every segment its name, segment reach data, status, provider, date updated, and date created.

For Segment Reach, a tooltip listing a breakdown of the reach data appears when hovering over the icon:



Source ID provided: Raw number of IDs we receive in a segment file.
Source ID matched: Raw number of IDs we match to our graph.

Note: For Bidstream match, all IDs will be exported through the Exchange regardless if they match or not.

Open the list of actions to apply to a segment. This list appears when you hover over the last column. For a complete description of actions, see the table below.

Searching and Sorting Segments

To search for a segment file, type the name of the segment in the search bar. To sort segment files, toggle the desired column header. Columns are arranged in descending order on the first click and ascending on the second click.

To sort and filter segments by Type and Status, open the filter dialog to select and apply more than one filter.


Applying an Action to a Segment

To apply an action to a segment, hover over the last column of the segment, click on the actions list , and then select one of the following:

RenameRename the segment.
ArchiveArchive (delete) the segment.

In addition, you can bulk archive segments by checking the boxes of the segments to archive, and then clicking .

NOTE

Actions become available based on the segment status.
